Who knew? I sure didn’t. Yet I’m thrilled someone is drawing attention to this deadly disease: The Skin Cancer Foundation www.skincancer.org

As you can see by the pic (not a good anything day) I am the voice of way too much experience.    I caught every ray I could in my younger years and found out too late that baby oil and iodine slathered on your face and body, intensified by a reflector, is not a good idea. Neither are sun lamps or tanning beds. They should be outlawed. If you notice a weird looking mole, scaly red lesion, or a pimple that just won’t go away – head for the doctor sooner rather than later. It could save your life.

So - this Memorial Day and everyday – remember the sunscreen
